Kmart Deals Update

Well, the deals didn't quite go as well as I'd hoped... but here is what I was able to walk away with:

3 packs of Huggies pullups - @9.99 each = $29.97
2 Jumbo packs of Huggies diapers - @9.99 each = $19.98
2 Aveeno baby lotion - @3.79 each = $7.58
1 Bic Soilel 4 pack - @5.29
1 Bic sensitive shaver - @3.49
1 box Band Aids - @2.50
3 Qtip travel packs - @.99 each
Total before coupons = $71.78

- $5/$50 Kmart coupon
- (2) $2/1 Aveeno coupons (did NOT double b/c the savings would have exceeded the price. boo!) =$4
- (3) $2/1 Pullups coupons DOUBLED = $12
- $3/2 Huggies diapers
- (2) $2/1 Bic shaver coupons (one doubled to 1.49 and one did not double?!??!) = 5.49
- $1/1 Bandaid coupon (for some unknown reason this didn't double... grrr....)
- $3/3 Johnson's coupon
Total coupon savings - $38.29

I paid $39.11 after tax AND got a $7 off coupon for my next trip, which I plan to take later this week BY MYSELF!!!
In the end, I paid:
3 packs of Huggies pullups - $5.99 each
2 Jumbo packs of Huggies diapers - $8.49 each
2 Aveeno baby lotion - $1.79 each
1 Bic Soilel 4 pack - $2.00
1 Bic sensitive shaver - $1.49
1 box Band Aids - $1.50
3 Qtip travel packs - FREE

Soooo... considering that the pullups and diapers alone would have been $49.95, this wasn't a bad OOP end to my slightly dissapointing trip. I had a conversation with the cashier after the receipt came out and the manager came over, but wasn't willing/able to do anything about the "mistakes" of the transaction. I decided that keeping a cool head was a better option than becoming very frustrated, even though I was! I also had to go with my girls, which made the trip 100,000 times more difficult since I couldn't really think and ponder while going through the aisles. Lesson learned...
